Czech Railways Museum Lužná u Rakovníka
Since 1999, the Czech Railways Museum in Lužná u Rakovníka has been occupied with the maintenance and operation of historical rail vehicles which now, after many years of service, bring joy to railway enthusiasts and everyone interested in the history of transport.
The museum is located near the railway station Lužná u Rakovníka in a beautiful natural setting at the edge of Křivoklát forests. The collections here comprise steam locomotives of various series and periods, historic diesel locomotives, railcars and examples of technical railway equipment. Also, regular nostalgia train journeys take place here, thanks to which you can not only see the history of railway transport, but also experience it yourself.
