The locomotive was produced in 1929 at ČKD Praha under production number 1461. The construction was based on locomotives of the series Va BD.

This one completed its service as a heating boiler in Šarišské Michaľany. he locomotive belongs to KHKD Praha and is presently on loan at the Czech Railways Museum in Lužná u Rakovníka from the collections of the National Technical Museum in Prague. It is nicknamed “Pětikolák” (“Five-wheeler”).
